NPIC is a Texas based pet treats and wellness brand that came to Growth Spark with the goal of revolutionizing their digital infrastructure and retheming to Shopify 2.0. NPIC also needed their UK site to be ported over to 2.0 which alarmed our team to consider upgrading NPIC to Shopify+ and make use of things like multi-store, Shopify Flows, and Launchpad, amongst other things.
The Solution
Growth Spark helped NPIC upgrade their Shopify account to a Shopify+ plan in preparation for the second site launch for the UK market. The UK store made use of Shopify+’s expansion store functionality to match the look and feel but leverage the same administrative panel as the US site.
The NPIC team is able to access the US and UK admin portals through a single ‘Organization’ dashboard using a single set of credentials.

NPIC worked with Growth Spark’ Growth Spark division to create a project plan that met the tight timeline and design requirements to help get their B2C business started.
NPIC also needed their UK site to be ported over to 2.0 which alarmed our team to consider upgrading NPIC to Shopify+ and make use of things like multi-store, Shopify Flows, and Launchpad, amongst other things.
The Solution
Growth Spark successfully launched two independent sites for NPIC over the past 3 months. Our strategy teams began with site audits to best understand the business model and past buying environments to help inform the new site dynamics. After conducting UX/UI audits, Information Architecture Strategy, and Asset generation, the first site was developed for the US market and included Buy It Now Buttons, Bazaarvoice reviews, Octane AI product quizzes & Flipsnack integrations, and Store Locator functionality. Other project complexities included a custom design process for various page templates, custom product architecture and product filtering to better sort and display inventory to customers.
Growth Spark helped NPIC upgrade their Shopify account to a Shopify+ plan in preparation for the second site launch for the UK market. The UK store made use of Shopify+’s expansion store functionality to match the look and feel but leverage the same administrative panel as the US site which is only available to upgraded S+ accounts. Shopify Plus’ Expansion Store feature helps automate the process of copying theme files, product and collection data, image assets, and more. The NPIC team is able to access the US and UK admin portals through a single ‘Organization’ dashboard using a single set of credentials.
We also added Rebuy widgets in key places across the sites to boost AOV + conversions. The NPIC projects were a perfect representation of Growth Spark’ cross-departments services working harmoniously together to help transform the business on time and under budget.
