Our Shopify wishlist app of choice is simply called Wishlist. Wishlist offers all of the essential features for implementing wishlists into your Shopify store. It’s fully customizable, allowing you to match your shop’s theme or branding. Full customization can be difficult if you’re unfamiliar with HTML and CSS, but it’s worth the extra effort. Consistency in your shop’s design is beneficial to your customers’ shopping experience. You’ll also gain access to customer, product, and share reports, as well as a daily report, which can be sent to your inbox automatically. WishList + Reminder
Wishlist + Reminder is another solid choice for a Shopify wishlist app. It has a similar feature set to Wishlist, and while it’s less customizable and robust, it does offer a unique feature: automated wishlist email reminders. Automated wishlist email reminders will be sent to customers when they add a product to a wishlist but don’t purchase said item. The emails are triggered to send after a set number of days, configurable within Wishlist + Reminder’s settings. The emails are customizable but only on a very basic level. Sending reminders like these can be an excellent way to improve your conversion rate!
How to Add Apps on Shopify
Once you’ve found the wishlist app you want to use, you’ll want to actually add it to your Shopify store, right? Thankfully, that’s a painless task given Shopify’s ease-of-use. Simply navigate to the app of your choice, and click the large green “Get” button. Shopify will guide you through a series of on-screen prompts and you should be ready to use your new app! Do note that some apps will require further steps, be sure to read their Shopify App Store entries to be wary of any special cases.
