Bioelements develops personalized skin care products for at-home use, and has a professional product line for spa estheticians. In business since 1991, the brand offers a bespoke concept of custom blending that uses concentrated formulas that can be customized for individual customers and skin care concerns.
To refresh its online marketing strategy and better meet the needs of its two primary target audiences (at-home users and spa estheticians), the company partnered with Orbit Media out of Chicago to design a new online store.
Orbit and Bioelements decided to migrate the platform from WooCommerce to Shopify, and turned to Growth Spark to support some key pieces of the new site launch.
On a short timeline, our team jumped in to help with app installations (including Shogun to help with content management and to create rich product pages), customizations to the Turbo theme, migrating data to the new site, and Q/A testing - all delivered within four weeks.
The new site is a clean design that features beautiful product photography, along with filtering and easily accessible information that makes it easy for customers to customize their product selection for specific skin types and concerns.
Custom Functionality: Free Samples with Purchase
As part of its new online marketing strategy, Bioelements launched a program offering three free samples with every purchase of $35 or more. To make this offer easy for customers to understand and take advantage of, Growth Spark developed a feature in the shopping bag.
Customers are offered their choice of three free samples from a product category, all of which are added into their shopping bag at no cost.
The new site launched in November with a clean aesthetic and thoughtful functionality that makes it easier for customers to quickly identify the product that’s right for them, and easily add it to their cart.
